Sta-Clean Antifreeze differs from other PG formulations as follows:

First and foremost, WE DEVELOPED OUR INHIBITOR PACKAGE AROUND SPECIFIC PROPERTIES OF PROPYLENE GLYCOL, unlike other companies that use the standard inhibitor package currently being used with Ethylene Glycol. We utilize over 11 different inhibitors, the others around six or seven.
We have developed an EXTREMELY LOW SILICATE FORMULA (less that 20%) to eliminate silicate drop-out. Our formulation of over 11 inhibitors can provide a ZERO CORROSION RATE FOR ALUMINUM and other metals in the system. BY FAR, STA-CLEAN ANTIFREEZE HAS THE SUPERIOR CORROSION INHIBITOR PACKAGE ON THE MARKET.

An important feature unique to STA-CLEAN ANTIFREEZE is that IT WILL NOT HARM BEARINGS and ruin an engine if the coolant accidentally leaks into the crankcase. NO OTHER PG OR EG ANTIFREEZE CLAIMS THIS BENEFIT. The costs saved by this benefit alone pays for the cost of the antifreeze.
We are and have always been 'HEAVY DUTY' which ELIMINATES THE NEED OF INITIAL PRE-CHARGE OF SCA'S and provides significant reduction in mineral deposits and pitting of sleeves.
WE ADDRESS THE HEAVY METAL INTERNAL CONTAMINATION PROBLEM by adding and inhibitor that provides both a physical and electrochemical barrier over all the metals in the system. By maintaining this barrier as directed with Sta-Clean BNT, fleets have reported they were able to sewer dispose their spent antifreeze. (Check with your local water authority for limits and restrictions on disposal.)

EXTEND DRAIN PERIODS. Our test fleet has now operated over 600,000 miles on Sta-Clean Antifreeze without draining, adding Sta-Clean BNT when necessary during regular maintenance checks. Some trucks are now in their SIXTH YEAR OF USE. THIS EXTENDED USE RESULTS IN SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS OF ANNUAL ANTIFREEZE PURCHASES.

Sta-Clean Heavy-Duty antifreeze is the premium quality antifreeze in the PG market. Note others may claim they are like 'Sta-Clean,' but they are not for the reasons outlined above. We will never say, "We are like the other PG formulations" We are not and do not want to be. We are far superior in performance and durability.
